just as good if not better than the first. It's more jazz oriented
than the previous CD but critics like George Fendel love it, saying:
"In listening to this CD, one senses the infectious joy of playing

publication of the Jazz Society of Oregon gave the Swing Machine's
debut CD, "The First One", four and one-half stars out of a possible
five. He wrote: "It's even better than it's producer/band leader
might have dreamed. Word limitations won't permit a listing of all the
players who made this recording shout." John Wendeborn, former
music critic for the Oregonian stated: "This is one of the best first
CD's I've ever heard.". |
